For those who have been keeping track, it has been a longer than we originally hoped to get the author review process in place to remove the nofollow from your links (Read about the nofollow and other changes here). Thanks in part due to a call from a distressed author, we got the programmer kicked into gear to get the ball rolling on the author review.
We can now review your account, note whether your write quality content and link to quality sites – if so – then the nofollow will be removed from your links. If you write terrible articles, and link to bad neighborhoods, etc, then we can mark the account as reviewed and leave the nofollow in place.
Currently we are reviewing authors based on the number of articles submitted, as well as the date of the last login. So authors who are submitting articles regularly will be reviewed first. If you would like to skip the queue, please feel free to email us at webmaster at articlesnatch dot com. (piece that back together.)
This will also remove the nofollow from your profile page — you did take the time to edit your profile right? You are allowed several links there and several paragraphs of space for you to write whatever you want about you and your company, etc. That profile page is linked from every article you submit, so its likely a good idea to get that filled out.
We are working on an option for you to opt out of having the in text ads from showing up on your site – these are the ads served by kontera within the body of the article. If you would like them blocked from your account, we can take note of that, and we are working to get it implemented shortly. If there is just one advertiser you want to see blocked, email us and we can take a look at that as well.
New Feature: Automagically Converting Urls to Links
We have turned on a function that will take a url in the resource box and turn it into a link, so if you forget to include the actual html code for your url, the system will turn it into a link on rendering. This will only work if your url looks something like http://www.articlesnatch.com it won’t work without the http.
As always we are open to feedback and making improvements to the site, email us, leave a comment, etc. Remember we have a comment policy.
I chanced upon to view your blog and found it very interesting as well as very informative, i was need such type information, which you have submitted. I really thankful to you, this posting help a huge number of people. Great … Keep it up!
I am posting my articles since 1 year on the articlesnatch and found it useful for my articles. Now its the first time I have seen a post regarding the new updates going to be made for the benefit of articlesnatch users and I am glad to see that nofollow attribute is going to be removed from the article body and there is also a improvement for the resource box. I hope this update will be really helpful for the article submitters. Thanks for updating me and other visitors regarding the latest updates going to be made at articlesnatch.com
You have submitted 6 articles, so not quite to the review level yet. and because you didn’t read our comment policy and use your name, your link was removed from this comment.
The nofollow attribute will stay on in the body of the article (this is as opposed to no links at all in the body), and will be removed from the resource box after we review your account.
If you want your account reviewed, send us an email with a link to one of your articles and we will go through it.
Pretty good news for all the authors who put in hard work to write unique articles!
I haven’t been submitting articles here yet but surely have ArticleSnatch in my list. The thing is we’ve heard so much about the duplicate content problem that I’ve been submitting to only EzineArticles so far. I will try to write more unique articles and submit here and hopefully get the nofollow removed from my links.
Hi, just found you guys. Seems like a sensible policy, rewarding those people who are responsible. I hope to submit some articles soon.
Yep I agree with this policy too. Makes people to try harder and submit quality instead of bulk to get a dofollow link. Kudos to you guys!
I think the policy is just fair, you really need to take some action to ensure that worthy articles are posted in your site. Granting of dofollow attribute to links of worthy articles is a way of commending the authors.
Well this serves as a lesson. It ain’t just writing and posting articles that aren’t really worth reading at all. This is a very nice policy you have implemented and because of this, i believe many people out there will be challenged even more to give a careful attention to the content matters.
We still haven’t used articlesnatch for our campaign, but I found this site well moderated. With this consistent service to keep spammers away, this site will definitely stand out among others and its links we’ll have more weight as compared to less moderated article sites. Looking forward of using this site’s service in our campaign.
Kudos!
Good to see someone putting in the time and effort to do an article directory the right way!
I plan on using the same policy, as soon as I find the right article directory software!

I wish you good luck at further progress and want to say your site has become much better! Everybody knows that only moving forward leads to success and progress, but doing nothig is like regress. I’m happy that you are moving forward!
That’s great news for all the authors who put in hard work about writing unique articles!
Thank you!
