Working at a computer for most people means spending a lot of time in a chair and hopefully it is a comfortable chair. Personally I have always been a fan of leather office chairs. My preference has been for a mid height back – but recently I have been looking at going to a high back chair for some more support.
I sit in a lot of chairs when I go to office supply stores, but I still haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for. In the process of looking for a new chair, I came across some mesh back chairs. I had never really thought of a mesh back chair but I figured I would look into it and decide later.
In my search for a mesh back chair I came across one that looks promising its called the Raynor Ergohuman mesh high back chair. This chair seems to fall in the middle price range for most office chairs of a good quality. It does come with a lifetime warranty as well – which I thought was a nice feature.
This chair says it is specifically designed for users who use a computer for more than 5 hours. Which for a lot of us is true for most days. The adjustable positionable arm rests look great to me. It does say that if you are outside of a certain height range then this chair will not work very well for you – so make sure to take that into account when looking for an office chair.
This looks like an interesting looking office chair. I would question if a mesh back is actually good for posture.
is there any comparation with Herman Miller aeron chairs?
aeron chairs last blog post..Aeron Chair Arm Angle Adjustment
I’m sitting in my new Eurotech Ergohuman Raynor chair in all black, supple leather. I did my leg–work, and ran around and sat in every sort of chair, from the stealcase leaps, to the herman miller aerons and mirras. As well as knock-offs. I have always sat in cheaper chairs from one of the major office supply stores, and this is my first endeavor into the finer side of seating, but I am completely happy with it. Ergonomic? I think so. I’m six feet tall, with a long torso, and at all the maximum adjustments, this thing fits me perfectly. Nicest chair I’ve ever sat in (office style), let alone owned. I really like the three stops in the lean backs. For me they are in the perfect reclines.
This chair makes me type faster. I am leaning my head back against the headrest, just ergonomically typing my little heart out, like that guy that talked like a robot in “Grandma’s Boy” the movie. I think he might have actually had this same chair – I will google it.
I wish the armrests came at my adjustment and didn’t move. They seem to flop all about, but if I’m cautious, I can keep them stationary. It’s worth it.
I must also say I’m normally very frugal, but this thing is bomb, and it was so worth it. I just returned an impostor chair this morning, and the store manager tried to short change me twenty bucks on my refund, but I busted him. Anyway, after this chair, you’ll never need another chair again. Just be sure to upgrade the rims! I’m getting some serious scooter wheels made of polyurethane for minez. Respect.
